Patricia Irwin honored by Freeholder Board |

| The Salem County Board of Chosen Freeholders recently presented a citation to Patricia Irwin, an employee of The Arc of Salem County, recognizing her receipt of the 2007 Libby Fogg Community Education Award form the Salem County Inter-Agency Council. The Freeholder Citation was presented to Irwin by Freeholder Jeffery J. Hogan, Chair of the county’s Health & Social Services Committee. The Inter-Agency Council presented the award to Irwin at a luncheon held in May at the Riverview Inn for her dedication in promoting Community Awareness about Services to the Disabled. Shirley Brooks, Associate Executive Director of The Arc, nominated Irwin for the Fogg Award because for over 25 years Irwin has been instrumental in educating people with disabilities about services, programs and benefits that are available in Salem County. Brooks also said Irwin has been instrumental in educating the public about disabilities and the capabilities for persons who have mental and/or physical disabilities.
